The beer's foundation is a sour ale, which has been meticulously aged for 14 months during primary fermentation. The real magic happens during the 23-month wood aging process, where the beer is expertly conditioned in a blend of New Zealand red wine barrels and second-use Kentucky bourbon barrels.
